Environmental Due Diligence
Miller Brooks has full service Phase I and II Environmental  Site Assessment (ESA) capabilities and the ability to acquire accurate, defensible results.  Miller Brooks has performed over 500 Phase I ESA's in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E1527-00. "Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process".  Miller Brooks is also closely following the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) " All Appropriate Inquiries" rulemaking efforts, and we have tailored our Phase I ESA program to accommodate the changes to the Phase I ESA standards.
Soil and Groundwater Assessments
Miller Brooks is experienced in conducting thorough and comprehensive assessments of soil and groundwater contamination, as well as evaluating controlling geological and hydrogeoligocal conditions.  The application of the latest investigative technologies, interaction with regulatory agencies and an understanding of the behavior of chemical compounds in the subsurface, distinguishes Miller Brooks approach.
Remedial Investigation / Feasibility Studies
Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Studies (RI/FS) routinely provided by Miller Brooks include groundwater and soil investigations; human health and ecological risk assessments; engineering evaluation/cost analysis (EE/CA); identification and analysis of applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements (ARAR's; determination of the optimum and most cost-effective technology for site restoration; and design of remediation systems.

Construction Services
As a single source for environmental solutions, Miller Brooks also provides construction services to our clients. We hold general engineering contractor licenses in California, Arizona and Nevada and have various specialized hazardous waste certifications appropriate to our construction services.  Our construction specialists are experienced in every aspect of commercial and industrial field construction and construction management projects.

Petroleum Assessments and Remediation
Miller Brooks has successfully completed over 400 UST and AST projects throughout the western United States involving every aspect of tank management services.  The activities include, but are not limited to, Senate Bill (SB)989 upgrades, tank removal and installation, excavation and construction activities, site assessment, soil and groundwater sampling and analysis, quarterly monitoring, negotiation of cleanup levels, implementation of appropriate remedial technologies, Operations and Maintenance of remediation technologies.  Operation and Maintenance of remediation systems, compliance monitoring, agency interaction, and attainment of site closure.
Environmental Compliance and Permitting
Miller Brooks serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking to develop new facilities or projects and to maintain regulatory compliance for existing facilities or processes.  With our experience in water, wastewater, hazardous and solid waste management, and air permitting projects, we are available to assist our clients in all aspects of the permitting and compliance process.  Environmental compliance activities include multimedia environmental compliance auditing, hazardous/waste management, waste reduction, facility siting, UST compliance oversight, and air quality source emissions monitoring and modeling.
Litigation Support
Miller Brooks' senior personnel have provided technical litigation support to numerous law firms and corporations, includgin document review, identification of potentially responsible parties (PRP's), expert testimony and advice on litigation strategies.  we have also worked closely with attorneys and appraisers in developing cost models for litigation.
